To qualify ADF members and allied foreign Defence Force members must have deployed for at least 30 days on Operations including Saville, Lilia, Linesman, Gateway, Render Safe, Augury (Philippines) and Argos.
 
Accumulated Service Device
An ADF member on a second or subsequent deployment to Operations may be awarded an accumulated service device on completion of the prescribed qualifying period.
